Dil Dhadakne Do is a narration of rich people’s world through a dog’s view point. This is one sentence about the movie. Dil Dhadakne Do is about today’s corporate world, how everything is viewed through a business point of view and how relations are getting affected because of that.
The story takes place in a cruise ship, where family and friends have come together to celebrate the wedding anniversary of Mr and Mrs Mehra, a rich business tycoon.. For Mehra, the cruise is also an opportunity to try to save his sinking empire. How the different relations turns out through the course of the cruise and how the family understands the meaning of relationship is what forms the core of the film.
Like Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, this film from Zoya Akthar also is narrated through a journey. The story is shown through the view point of Pluto, the pet dog of Mehras. Anil kapoor plays the role of Mr.Mehra and Shefali Shah is wife, Ranveer his son Kabeer and Priyanka Chopra his daughter Ayesha. Anusha Sharma plays the role of Fara, a dancer. Farhan Akthar as Sunny excels in his role also

The real stars of the film is Anil Kapoor and Ranveer. This is one of the best performance I have seen from Ranveer. Also one of the good one from Anil Kapoor. He carries the movie well
This is a good movie with nice locations of Greece and Turkey as well as the cruise and the beautiful camera work. The music is really good. The movie is a bit lengthy though. All the characters have done their role well, including the sub plots. It’s worth a watch
